Fun Fun Butter Pasta with Korean Dragon Sauce

Xavier Torres

Who said pasta has to be boring? This Fun Fun Butter Pasta brings the heat with our bold and savory Korean Dragon Sauce, paired with garlicky shrimp, juicy cherry tomatoes, and rich Irish butter. It’s spicy, buttery, and totally addictive.

📝 Ingredients:

  • 8 oz dry or fresh pasta (we used fettuccine)
  • 5 fl oz Korean Dragon Sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 6–8 shrimp, halved
  • 10 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 green onions, sliced (use white stems for cooking, greens for garnish)
  • 6 tbsp Irish butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water

🔥 How to Make It:

  1. Cook the pasta
Boil your pasta until al dente. Drain, toss with a little oil, and set aside.
  2. Marinate the shrimp
Toss the shrimp with soy sauce and chopped garlic. Let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. Start the sauce
In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 3 minutes or until just pink.
  4. Add the flavor
Toss in the white parts of the green onions and cherry tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes begin to soften.
  5. Bring it all together
Add the cooked pasta to the pan along with Korean Dragon Sauce and a splash of pasta water. Toss to coat everything in that spicy, buttery goodness.
  6. Finish and garnish
Add a little extra butter if you’re feeling indulgent. Top with the green parts of the scallions and serve hot!

🌟 Tip:

Want it extra creamy? Stir in a spoonful of cream cheese at the end. You’re welcome.
